The New York Times recently ran a profile of Lisa D'Amour, who's new play Airplane Highway has its Broadway debut this month. She will be the first woman with a new play on Broadway in two years. The article also includes a look into her collaboration with Katie Pearl (BA '96). As PearlD'Amour, the pair co-created Milton. The project took the collaborators to five towns across the United States named Milton, where they conducted over 130 interviews with local residents and compiled those stories into the play.

Next year, PearlD'Amour will be working with our students to conduct similar community outreach in service of creating new works of theatre.
