Biography

Ryan Gastelum is a production manager and sound designer. Before UW, he worked for eight years at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, most recently as the Associate Director of Production. While at BAM he played a key role in the opening of the Richard B. Fisher Building, and worked with companies such as The Royal Shakespeare Company, Toneelgroep Amsterdam, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Theatre des Bouffes du Nord and Nonesuch Records. Prior to his production management work, Ryan worked as a sound designer at The Kennedy Center, PlayMakers Repertory Company, Arena Stage and Children’s Theater of Charlotte.
