Produced by the Undergraduate Theater Society, Georg Büchner's Woyzeck is the story of Franz Woyzeck, a poor soldier who struggles through life to support his mistress and child. Subject to the unjust treatment of his superiors, Woyzeck crumbles under the inability to express himself and control his life. Although Georg Büchner’s Woyzeck was left unfinished due to the author’s young death, his play is a timeless reminder of our responsibility as humans, and what we owe others and ourselves.
