As part of Seattle Opera's 2022/23 Season, Professor Emeritus Deb Trout recently showcased her exceptional talent as the costume designer in the world premiere of "A Thousand Splendid Suns." Based on Khaled Hosseini's novel, this captivating opera, featuring music by Sheila Silver and libretto by Stephen Kitsakos, mesmerized audiences at McCaw Hall.
