G.W. "Skip" Mercier*Our beloved faculty member G.W. "Skip" Mercier died of pancreatic cancer on March 11, 2021. We list him here in honor of his enormous contributions to our school, and to the generation of designers whom he mentored. COVID-19 SAFETY STATEMENT

During the creation of this production, every precaution was taken for the protection of the faculty, students and staff. All University of Washington COVID-19 prevention guidelines were followed, including but not limited to:

  • Whenever possible, proper social distancing was practiced and actively monitored.
  • Face coverings were provided and worn by everyone except for certain socially distanced recorded scenes.
  • Hand sanitizer and disinfecting spray was provided and used.
  • Daily health attestations were required and regular communication about safe practices were constantly reinforced. 
  • All in-person participation was done on a voluntary basis. 
  • Only the faculty, students and staff necessary were in the areas where the production took place.
