There’s a war going on out there somewhere

In the glittering, opulent world of 1812 Russia, elite society parties are taking place while the Napoleonic Wars are raging in the west. In this contradictory times, Natasha's fiancé, Prince Andrey is at the battlefield, while she is being introduced to Moscow society with mixed results. Andrey's best friend, Pierre, depressed and unhappily married, thinks he is wasting his life. When Natasha meets Anatole, a very handsome cad and friend of Pierre's, she is forced to examine the life she is about to embark on.

Based on a part of Tolstoy’s epic novel War and Peace, this Tony award winning “electropop opera” merges Russian folk music with EDM influences.
