Movers and Shakers: Influential Playwrights and Companies of the 20th century

This class surveys some of the major influencers of the styles, movements, and aesthetics of theatre training and content of the 20th century and contemporary theatre.  Those 'movers and shakers' - from Stanislavski to Brecht to Boal to Anna Devere Smith -  they created the legacy of theatre styles we still work with and any theatre student should be acquainted with their work.
