Graduate Student Conference Travel Awards
If the request is for funds from the Graduate School, please submit the form below. The Graduate Program Advisor will submit your request to the Graduate School and inform you of the award decision.
- Graduate student travel awards are available to assist graduate students with travel fares and conference registration fees for national or international conferences so they may present papers or posters, or to serve as invited speakers. Students in the arts may receive funding to give invited performances or installations.
- The maximum award for domestic travel is $300. The maximum award for international travel is $500.
Witham Endowment for Drama Research
- To provide funding for School of Drama students pursuing research for their academic work, by providing travel funds to visit out-of-state or foreign archives in research collections, museums, universities, or professional theatres. Fund distributions should support students’ direct expenses, limited to travel and lodging. NOTE: Preference is given to PhD applicants.
If the request is for funds from the Witham Endowment the Graduate Program Advisor will confer with your area head and let you know how much if any funding has been allocated.
School of Drama Funds
- School of Drama funds are authorized at the discretion of the Executive Director, only when available, and only applicable to cases where Graduate School funds and Witham funds are not available or are inadequate.
If the request is for funds from the School of Drama, the Graduate Program Advisor will be in contact with you about whether funding is available and approved to be awarded.
