Tlaloc Rivas (MFA 1999) was awarded the 2014-2015 Gielgud Fellowship from the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation. Tlaloc received his MFA in Directing from the University of Washington and is currently Assistant Professor of Directing at The University of Iowa. The Gielgud Fellowship "provides opportunities for early career directors to study the artistic processes of master directors of classical plays." Tlaloc will join Charles Newell at Chicago's Court Theatre to work on Iphigenia in Aulis. Learn more about the award here.
