Andrew D. Smith has been teaching lighting design at the UW School of Drama since 2007. Andrew has designed lighting in the Seattle area with Book-It Repertory Theatre, Seattle Shakespeare Company, Washington Ensemble Theatre, New Century Theatre Company, Seattle Public Theater, ArtsWest, Theater Off Jackson, Velocity Dance Center, Azeotrop, Strawberry Workshop Theatre, Broadway Performance Hall, Cornish School of the Arts and Bellevue Community College. Andrew's work has also been seen at LaMaMa ETC, Classical Theater of Harlem, Roust Theater Company, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Horizon Theatre Company, and Cardinal Stage Company, where he is an Artistic Associate.; This season Andrew will design: Circle Mirror Transformation(Seattle Rep), Owen Meany Christmas Spectacular (Book-ItRepertory Theater), Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead (Seattle Public Theatre) and Amber Waves (Flint Youth Theatre).
