Biography

MFA, Professional Actor Training Program, University of Washington

In early October 2023, Christopher was named the Artistic Director of the Abbey Players at Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, NC. This made him the fourteenth director in the program’s 140 year long history, and only the second director since the school’s development of their own performing arts program. On the same night he was named, he secured a nine million dollar donation from the North Carolina state legislature for the building of a new performing arts center for the school!

Christopher completed the PATP program at the University of Washington School of Drama in 2015. He holds a B.A in Liberal Art Studies from Belmont Abbey College and a 2-year Certificate from the North Carolina School of the Arts. He has played Valentine (Arcadia) for the Abbey Players, Jaques (As You Like It) for the Carolinian Shakespeare Festival, Lord Capulet (Romeo and Juliet) at the Manhatten Rep, and Sir (Living Quarters) at the NYC Irish Center. He is originally from Gastonia, NC.
