A graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word, Martin returns to the MFA Design Program with 13 years as a Texas public school teacher. He received the San Antonio Artist foundation grant for Costume Design and multiple grants for the Theatre Arts programs he developed in San Antonio and then Dallas.  The years he has spent teaching, directing, and designing have inspired him to return to UW School of Drama’s rich environment of theatre artists.
