Seattle theatre group Azeotrope opened Don Nyguen's Sound at ACT Theatre to rave reviews. Desdemona Chiang (MFA 2009) directs, with Richard Nguyen Sloniker (PATP 2009) as Alexander Graham Bell, costume design by Christine Tschirgi (MFA 2007), and lighting design by Jessica Trundy (MFA 2003).

The Horse in Motion continues to produce non-traditional theatre. Their latest production, Brechtfest, combines three Brecht plays with a three-course brunch. Directed by Bobbin Ramsey (BA 2012) and featuring the creative work of Ben Phillips (BA 2013)AliRose Panzarella (MFA 2014)Rachel PerlotHannah Ruwe (BA 2014)Jonathan Shue (PATP 2014)Katherine Bicknell, and Sylvia Kowalski. Read an interview with Bobbin on The Seattle StarBrechtfest runs through October 4.

Ada Limón (BA 1998) made the National Book Award poetry longlist for her collection Bright Dead Things.

Quinlan Corbett (PATP 2008) stars in Arthur Miller's Incident at Vichy, opening October 27 off-Broadway at Signature Theatre and directed by Michael Wilson.
