Highlighting the Achievements of Faculty, Students, and Alumni:
Theatre Puget Sound recently announced the 2024 Gregory Awards, and the UW School of Drama community was well-represented among the nominees and winners! Notable achievements include:
- Pearl Lam (BA, 2020) – Winner of Outstanding Performance
- Gavin Reub (BA, 2013) – Winner of Outstanding Direction of a Play
- Black Nativity, directed by Valerie Curtis-Newton – Winner of Outstanding Musical
- Valerie Curtis-Newton was also nominated for Outstanding Direction of a Musical
- Jennifer Zeyl (MFA, 2003) – Nominated for Outstanding Scenic Design
- Amy Thone (part-time faculty) – Nominated for Outstanding Performance
- Jeffrey Fracé, Head of Acting – Among the winners celebrated at this year’s awards.
