Biography

Jessica is a costume designer with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre with a concentration in Costume Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. They have a background in fashion, politics, social justice, and knows that this along with her Peruvian heritage, will help them create costumes that translate the stories told on the ever changing theatre. They interned at The Public Theater in NY, NY in 2016. They later designed "Sunset Baby" (ArtsWest), Other People's Money (Chelsea Repertory Theater, NY,NY), and Desire Under the Elms (Firehouse Theatre, Richmond, VA). They are currently designing "Accidental Death of an Anarchist" for their thesis and "9 to 5: The Musical" for their Exit Project. Before the pandemic, they designed the costumes for; "The Three Sisters", "The Women of Lockerbie" and the MFA Dance Show at the University of Washington.
