Launch the Class 2021

WELCOME TO THE LAUNCH OF THE UW SCHOOL OF DRAMA MFA CLASS OF 2021!

DONATE TO LAUNCH THE CLASS

We are two directors, six designers and five actors making up the University of Washington School of Drama’s 2021 MFA graduates!

We have all been busy preparing for our career launches: developing professional networks, putting portfolios together, building websites, filming demo reels, taking and printing new headshots, and gearing up for virtual showcases.

We are asking for your support to fund our class’ various artistic professional needs; needs like professional marketing materials (head shots, production photos and website development), self-tape filming equipment, union initiation dues, design software, network subscriptions, professional workshops, art supplies, registration fees for showcases and pitch competitions, and relocation for exciting job opportunities!

The actors’ showcase will launch on April 19, the designers will launch with two national showcases in late May and early June, and the directors will present their final projects this spring. Kristie Post Wallace directs Accidental Death of an Anarchist running April 8-11, and Andrew Coopman directs Rosmersholm running May 6-9.

WHAT YOUR DONATION MEANS

Your contribution will set us up for success! As professional artists, we are our own business. Our professional launch is an opportunity for us to expand our professional network, strengthen our marketing and promotional practice, and show off the fruits of our graduate school labor! The industry professionals who will attend our showcases, lead workshops and see our work will serve as valuable connections throughout our careers. This means that your gift will keep on giving for many years of art-making to come!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT ON OUR JOURNEY!
