After receiving his bachelor's in theatre arts from University of Puget Sound, Ricky German worked a freelance costume designer and technician for theatres including Sound Theatre Company, Intiman Theatre, A Contemporary Theatre, Arts West Playhouse, Seattle Shakespeare Education Program, Washington Ensemble, and Empathos Company. Outside of theatre, he designs made-to-order and ready-to-wear garments. His passion for clothing is fueled by the sociological and anthropological study of design and craftsmanship.
