Ryn Flynn

Biography

Ryn is a third year Lighting Designer in the MFA Design program at the University of Washington. She holds a B.A. in Theatre from Knox College, and is originally from Connecticut. In her time at the School of Drama, she has designed lights for Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?The Motherf**ker with the Hat, Landscape of the Body, Foliage of Vision, the Tennessee Williams One Acts, The Arabian Nights and The Beggar's Opera. Additionally, she was the assistant to the Lighting Designer for the Winter 2012 production of Emma. Outside the University, she worked on Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar (Handwritten Productions), Little Shop of Horrors (Castle Craig Players), the Bodymass Dance Concert (Knox College), Angels in America Parts 1 and 2 (Knox College) and Eurydice (Knox College).
