Calling all School of Drama community members and Friends of Drama!

We are thrilled to invite you to join us for an incredible event celebrating art, creativity, and the powerful voices within our community.

Introducing "We Black, We Surreal," a captivating group exhibition showcasing the remarkable works of Ariana Benson, Bereket Adamu, Brea, CHARI, Darryl DeAngelo Terrell, LaNia Sproles, Le'Ecia Farmer, Nahom Ghirmay, Ronald Hall, and SAMAR.

Curated by the talented team of Brittney Frantece, Chari Glogovac-Smith, Fal Efrem Iyoab, Cassie Mira, and Eric Villiers, all of whom are brilliant UW students (both graduate and undergraduate), this exhibition promises to be an extraordinary experience.

It would be an honor to have you join us at the opening celebration on Thursday, June 29, at 5 pm, with remarks beginning at 6 pm. We've secured the recently renovated Jacob Lawrence Gallery as our venue, and it's the perfect setting to immerse yourself in the artistic expressions on display.

The exhibition will be running from Thursday, June 29, until Saturday, July 22.
