Raisin in the Sun at Seattle Repertory Theatre
Our very own 3rd year PATP, Tré Cotten, is currently performing in Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry, and we have an exciting opportunity to see Tré and other current graduate students immerse themselves work by a playwright who helped to shape American theatre.

On Saturday, October 15th at 1:00pm UW PhD, MFA, and PATP students will present an afternoon of dialogue and excerpts from The Sign in Sidney Brustein's Window, Les Blancs, The Drinking Gourd, and other works by Hansberry. The presentation will be happening in the Poncho Forum. Professors Jeffrey Fracé and Scott Magelssen helped to organize and curate this event.

Immediately following this special presentation is the 2:00pm matinee of Raisin in the Sun where 25 tickets will be held for attendees of the presentation for only $15. There will also be an additional 25 tickets for $15 available for the evening performance at 7:30pm if you cannot make it to the presentation.

These tickets are first come, first serve, so we recommend calling our friend Roland Carette-Meyers at The Seattle Rep at 206-787-1435 and using the code "UW Day" to get your $15 tickets! Otherwise, when you arrive for the presentation at 1:00pm, you can purchase your $15 tickets at the box office. These discount tickets cannot be purchased online.
