Megan grew up in San Diego, CA. She spent the first half of her professional life immersed in theatre and costume design. She contributed her design, craft, and shopping talents to a few prominent companies, including Centre Theatre Group in Los Angeles, Shakespeare LA, and in Seattle: ArtsWest, Book-it Repertory Theatre, the Bathhouse (aka Seattle Public Theatre), and Village Theatre. Megan loves to talk about, learn about, and re-imagine the design and creative process. She specializes in mask-making, leatherwork, and millinery. When her schedule allows, she still works crafts on a freelance basis in the Seattle community.
In 2014, Megan found real joy in serving students and pivoted into the role of international student advisor at Bellevue College, where she proudly served students from over sixty countries. Now, Megan is honored to serve the amazingly talented students at the UW School of Drama.
