Our faculty, students, and staff are here to help keep your December drama filled. All month long, we'll be posting our December Drama Picks on Facebook. Be sure to like us and follow along. Here's a sampling of the theatre we'll be seeing, the movies we'll be watching, and the books and plays we'll be reading. Happy December!

Jonathan Shue, PATP '14: Reading The Actor and the Target by Declan Donnellan

Tina Polzin, MFA Directing Candidate: Play to see: American Wee-Pie at Seattle Public Theater. Play to read: The Hostage by Brendan Behan

Eric Uthus: Will be seeing The Hound of the Baskervilles at Seattle Rep. And The Wolf of Wall Street this Christmas.

Professor Jeffrey Fracé: Going to see The Clay Duke at On the Boards and Next Fest NW at Velocity Dance Center, and watching as many films by Andrei Tarkovsky as possible.

Professor Zane Jones: Movies to watch: Blue is the Warmest Color and 12 Years a Slave. Books to read: Conversations With Anne - Twenty Two Interviews by Anne Bogart and Home by Toni Morrison.

Professor Andrew Tsao: Reading T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land in preparation for developing a theatre piece based on it and Sculpting in Time by Andrei Tarkovsky because it is a rare gem about the great Russian director's thoughts on filmmaking, cinema, art.
