Debate Poster

On Thursday, October 20th, the Undergraduate Theater Society kicked off their 20th season with Debate: An Improvised Comedy. Directed by BA student Anders Peterson, this long-form improvisation show is modeled after the presidential debates, where by the end of the performance, the audience is tasked with electing their new leader!

"Finally, a Presidential debate focused on issues real Americans care about. This year, our candidates have solutions for any and all problems facing America, be it phones without headphone jacks or bad Uber drivers. Each solution comes from the heart, because they’re improvised on spot. ‘Debate’ satirizes the pageantry and problems of Presidential debates in a brand new way each night."

Debate: An Improvised Comedy runs through Oct. 30th with performances on Wednesday through Sundayat 7:30pm in the Cabaret Theater at Hutchinson Hall. Tickets and Info.
