Biography

Thorn Michaels is an MFA candidate in Lighting Design at the University of Washington. Her most recent work includes The Two-Character Play with Civic Rep (for which she was nominated for a Gregory Award for Best Lighting Design, 2015), Made in Seattle with Velocity Dance Center, SOAP Fest with West of Lenin, and Twelfth Night, Cold Empty Terrible, and Three Pints of Pinter with the University of Washington.  In addition to working on her degree, this winter she'll be designing lights for Trojan Women with Civic Rep, Brooklyn Bridge with Seattle Children's Theatre, and sets for …And Hilarity Ensues… with The Horse in Motion.
