Jonathan M. Rizzardi is a doctoral student in the School of Drama at the University of Washington. He has worked as a teaching artist, actor, director, and writer of arts education and arts integration curricula. His current research relates to how acts of education, maturation, and coming-of-age intersect with theatre and public performance.
Passionate about developing theatre programs that impact local communities and serve students in need as well as supporting teacher training initiatives with research-based pedagogical practice, Jonathan hopes to use theatre scholarship to support the artistic and educational aspirations of students of all ages.
Jonathan is an avid runner, singer/musician, and sports fan (Go Pack Go!)
