Additional Details:

This is an entry level technical make up workshop based class. Most of the work is completed within the time limitations of the class. This course offers the student a practical guide to the theory and practice of different levels of stage make up.

Students are required to purchase specific supplies and tools to complete the course. A limited understanding of color, light, and shadow are encouraged. Enthusiasm is welcomed and appreciated.

Student learning goals

By the end of the course students should have a general understanding of techniques, skill, research, and preparation of make up.

Basic principles, with intensive practice in application of makeup for use on proscenium and arena stages.
