Syllabus Description:

The literal French translation of the word ensemblée is ‘together, at the same time.’

Theatre is indeed a collaborative art form – and at the heart of this collaboration is the ensemble of artists and technicians who work together to create a piece of theatre.

In this course – students will gather with a faculty mentor/collaborator to select material and to decide upon the roles for each ensemble member (director, actor, designer, stage manager, etc.).

Most of the quarter will be spent in rehearsal, culminating at the end of the quarter with performances in the Cabaret Theatre.

This course is a Cab Lab production.
