Catalog Description: 
Focuses on major works, forms, and styles of drama in Western European theatre from the mid-nineteenth century to the present. Explores modern and contemporary theatre from the rise of realism to modernist innovations with reference to cultural contexts, interpretive problems, and dramatic criticism. Prerequisite: DRAMA 201.
